New "spipe" client utility; spiped 1.2.0 release coming soon
Hi all,
I just committed code for a new "spipe" utility which acts as an spiped
protocol client; its primary purpose is to be used as a ProxyCommand for
SSH to make it easier to hide SSH servers behind spiped.
I'll be releasing spiped 1.2.0 shortly (probably within 24 hours) with
this code, but in the mean time you can get the code from SVN:
# svn checkout http://spiped.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ spiped
As always, Tarsnap bug bounties apply to this code, and if you can find
anything which needs fixing before I roll the release tarball you'll get
Tarsnap's traditional pre-release double bounty.
I've written a few words in the README file about this new functionality,
but there will be a lengthier blog post coming shortly.
