Tarsnap on ReadyNAS NV+

Hello,

I'm trying to setup and use tarsnap on a consumer-level NAS: Netgear
Readynas NV+, but the configuration script says it's unable to
recognize the OS (see copy of the error below).

What should I do? should I specify the correct system type (it's
apparently a Debian distribution on SPARC)... but where?

Also, I get the following error when trying to install e2fslibs-dev
(which I'll need eventually, according to the Tarsnap setup page):

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    e2fslibs-dev:
Depends: comerr-dev but it is not going to be installed
        Depends: e2fslibs (= 1.40.2-1.netgear2) but 1.40.11-1.netgear2
is to be installed

Has anyone successfully installed Tarsnap on a ReadyNAS?

Thanks,
Regards,
Emmanuel Bégué
