Sort of. Really it's just that one cache directory is assumed to be used
for each key.
I used the word "machine" in a bunch of places, but in hindsight I really
should have used the word "backup set".

This is a very effective way to waste time and bandwidth. fsck is
slow and not designed to be run on a regular basis.
