If you're not running FreeBSD, you probably won't be able to use the Makefiles
from the SVN tree. This is normal -- those Makefiles are there to make my life
easier as a developer, not with any expectation that they will be useful for
anyone else.
Fair enough. However, some of the problems I'm running into are inherently interesting and may be worth fixing anyway.
