My preference would be to be able to set triggers that would send me an email when my account fell below $X. This is the way http://nearlyfreespeech.net does billing, and it works really well.

I would actually prefer to have an option other than Paypal. I've heard too many horror stories to trust them with my credit card or bank acct #.

I'd prefer the former as well: It would let me limit the total amount
charged at any one time.  I'm currently adding money twice a month (once a
paycheck) to avoid the larger hit.
